ABOUT US
The dynamics and priorities of marine ecosystems, industries, and societies are rapidly changing. It is envisaged that the Blue Growth concept is essential for the maritime sectors to realize their development potential in order to meet the rising demands of the growing global population, such as food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, transportation, energy, raw materials, and employment. In achieving competitive and sustainable blue growth, traditional methods, practices, and approaches need to be strengthened with evolving knowledge and technologies or replaced with more innovative methods. New value chains must be created and implemented to accelerate the competitive growth of marine and maritime sectors in the Industry 4.0 Age.
AG Marine Solutions (AGMS) aims to carry forward this transformation in the maritime industry by combining cross-sectoral and intra-sectoral dynamics, and by bringing advanced knowledge, technology, and collaboration models, along with Industry 4.0 technologies, into our solution processes with an innovative and proactive approach. Founded in 2017 with over 15 years of experience, AGMS is engaged in R&D, innovation and collaboration activities in areas including maritime transport, coastal and marine tourism, marine fishing, aquaculture, marine biotechnology, marine energy, marine mining, and marine research.
Our vision is to pioneer the transformation of the maritime sector and utilize marine resources sustainably and innovatively to create a better world for future generations.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
2024-2026 - Captains of the Blue Growth (MSCA and Citizens initiative of the European Union funded under the Marie Skłodowska Curie actions. Call identifier: HORIZON-MSCA-2023-CITIZENS-01 and European Maritime Day In My Country EMD 2024 Associated Project).
Between 2020 and 2023, under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in coordination with TÜBİTAK-Marmara Research Center (TÜBİTAK MAM), we conducted research as part of the "Integrated Pollution Monitoring in the Seas (DEN-İZ) Program". We investigated the Good Environmental Status of the Turkish Seas Food Web using modeling and statistical analysis methods.
In 2022, we contributed to the Mobility Vehicle and Technologies Roadmap prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
In 2021, within the scope of the EU Horizon Europe Program, we coordinated the "From Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe: Maritime Innovation Days" event, where we interactively evaluated innovative developments shaping the present and future of the maritime sectors with industry stakeholders.
In 2019, we conducted MSFD D4 Food Web Analysis for the Turkish Mediterranean Sea EEZ as part of the Integrated Pollution Monitoring in the Seas (DEN-İZ) Program under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in coordination with TÜBİTAK-Marmara Research Center (TÜBİTAK MAM).
During 2018-2019, we explored the potential of digital transformation in maritime sectors through the "Ocean 4.0 Program" and successfully coordinated the Ocean 4.0 Synergy Meetings, which brought together over 100 representatives from maritime industries at 5 technoparks.
In 2017-2018, we played a significant role in the development and implementation of the Marmara Sea Integrated Modeling System (MARMOD) Project under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change and in coordination with the Middle East Technical University Institute of Marine Sciences.
Furthermore, during 2017-2018, we actively participated in the Working Group for the Development of the EU Black Sea Blue Growth Research and Innovation Strategy, contributing to efforts aimed at supporting the Black Sea's potential for blue growth.
